Who We Are

Green Valley School is a Montessori school located in Pembroke, NH.

We have multi-age classrooms (Preschool through Jr. High):

• 3 to 6 year old class (preschool and kindergarten) Tour the Preschool classroom.
• 6 to 9 year old class (1st to 3rd grade) Tour the Lower Elementary classroom.
• 9 to 12 year old class (4th to 6th grade) Tour the Upper Elementary classroom.
• 12 to 15 year old class (7th to 9th grade)Tour the Jr. High classroom.

Our Teachers

Our teachers are Renaissance Men and Women. They possess a wide variety of skills and interests that they bring to their classes on a daily basis such as drama, music, arts, crafts, foreign language, carpentry, business skills, public speaking, backpacking, cooking, and gardening, to name a few. All of our teachers have at least a bachelor’s degree in their chosen field and are Montessori trained.

Montessori training is a rigorous 1 to 3-year program where teachers learn how to implement a Montessori curriculum, and more importantly how to become keen observers. Even veteran teachers find that they truly know how to teach after taking the Montessori training.
